B Street Leather Ltd. Co. is a tiny, woman-owned business.

As of September 2025, I am taking time to pause orders and redesign how I run B Street.

The world has shifted this past year, changing both the pricing and sourcing of materials. My own life has shifted too, in good ways, but changing the time I have to fulfill orders.

As for now, the time I do have for B Street will be for self-directed projects. When there are B Street goodies up for grabs, I will post them here on my website with an Instagram story update. You can express interest by messaging me.

B Street is a solo project run by Piper, who also works as a parent and speech-language pathologist. Created with natural full-grain leather and stitched with nylon thread for longevity — each product is one of a kind, with unique variations in each hide.

It all started thanks to my dad.

I wanted to make a leather purse —

“Go for it,” he said.

From there, he continues to mentor me. I’m learning from the best.

My dad owned the Birch Street Shoe Shop from 1976 through the early nineties. During that time, my parents launched Iron Bags, a custom order leather saddlebag company. I loved growing up in a family-owned leather shop, learning the importance of creating things yourself and building things to last.

I have always been proud to say “Hey, this is my mom and dad” and it’s pretty cool to be learning the art of leather from them.
