B Street Leather Ltd. Co. is a tiny, woman-owned business.

Hi, I’m Piper, owner of B Street Leather. I am a parent, a speech-language pathologist, and a leatherworker. B Street Leather brought me back into my love for art. The first degree I earned at the university level was in painting.

B Street Leather all started thanks to my dad. I wanted to make a leather purse —

My dad owned the Birch Street Shoe Shop from the mid-seventies through the early nineties. During that time, my parents launched Iron Bags, a custom order leather saddlebag company. I learned a lot growing up in a family-owned leather shop: create things yourself, build things to last, and use what you have. They continue to mentor me in the art of leather. I’m learning from the best.

I am able to continue B Street thanks to Seth. Thanks for being my partner in everything.

All B Street items are created with natural full-grain leather and stitched with nylon thread for longevity — each product is one of a kind, with unique variations in each hide.

It’s 2026 and I’m currently taking time to pause orders and redesign how I run B Street. I don’t know what that looks like yet, but that’s okay. All in good time.

The world has shifted, changing both the pricing and sourcing of materials. My own life has shifted too, in good ways, but changing the time I have to fulfill orders.

Little shoes are leading me right now and are my number one.

As for now, the time I do have for B Street will be for self-directed projects. When there are B Street goodies up for grabs, I will post them here on my website with an Instagram story update. You can express interest by messaging me.
